Congress Support Scheme

As I wrote quite a long and explanatory report for the August Gazette, I will not burden this issue with another lengthy report. Suffice to say that the Congress Support Scheme has been set up for visually impaired members who have recently participated in our own events and have not had a recent opportunity to be funded to play any international games. The scheme has therefore been set up to encourage and support such members to participate in mainstream or any other non BCA tournaments.

Each year I draw up a list of BCA members who are eligible to claim under the scheme. If you are on my list you will be entitled to receive significant financial assistance to attend any non BCA events during the BCA financial year (1st October to 30th September).

To find out more, please refer to the August edition of the Gazette or contact me.
