Sally Kenealy presented the BCA with a secondhand Braille notetaker that belonged to her brother, David Hodgkins. It is being sold in aid of the BCA and will go to the highest bidder. It is a Braille Sense plus B32, Product name: Braille PDA, Manufacturer: HIMS Co Ltd, Model: H332B. It has no cables or charger but has a protective case with shoulder strap. Please contact our Treasurer, Gill Smith, if you wish to bid for this item.
Regular readers of the gazette will recall that Apex Credit Management is raising funds for the BCA in memory of their late colleague, David Hodgkins. Maria Pistolas has been updating us with regular reports on their activities. This time, Maria has written to say that the company is relocating and as a result fundraising has been put on hold. However, the company has agreed that spare office equipment can be sold with the proceeds going towards the funds raised. Sadly for us, we will no longer be receiving reports from Maria as she has found a new job. I know members will join me in thanking Maria for all the work she has done for us and wishing her every success in her new employment.
