BCA – Bringing Chess To Visually Impaired People

Taking on the Parliamentary Chess Club!

On Monday 20th July, the BCA sent a team to Westminster to take on the Parliamentary Chess Club! In descending board order, our players were Chris Ross, Julian Llewellyn (playing in his first match for us), Bittor Ibanez, Simon Highsmith, John Fullwood and Abi Baker. Simon was defeated but Bittor drew and everyone else won, giving the BCA a 4.5 – 1.5 victory. Many thanks to the Parliamentary Chess Club for inviting us back this year and congratulations to our team!
